| Product Structure Introduction — ZR-YJV 4×120 mm² | |||
| Four-core layered construction description, from conductor to outer sheath · per GB/T 12706.1 & IEC 60502-1 · CU / XLPE / PVC · 0.6/1 kV | |||
| 1. Cable Presentation | |||
| ZR-YJV 4×120 is a flame-retarding four-core power cable, rated 0.6/1 kV, that carries four 120 mm² copper cores under XLPE insulation and a single PVC jacket. It follows the construction rules of GB/T 12706.1 / IEC 60502-1 and carries the ZC flame classification by default under GB/T 19666. Outside diameter 46.0 mm and weight 5244 kg/km; coils and drums of 100 m are the normal supply unit. | |||
| The four cores allow a complete three-phase-plus-neutral feed in one cable, which shortens installation time on building services and industrial feeders. | |||
| 2. Conductor Description | |||
| Each 120 mm² core is stranded from thirty-seven 2.03 mm annealed copper wires (37/2.03) laid in four concentric rings (1+6+12+18), Class 2 per GB/T 3956, forming a conductor of ≈ 14.20 mm. Resistance is held to 0.153 Ω/km at 20 °C. The dense ring pack keeps the core round and gives a stable termination area for lugs and glands. | |||
| 3. Insulation & Dielectric | |||
| Cross-linked polyethylene is extruded at 1.2 mm, the wall for the 120 mm² step in GB/T 12706.1, bringing the over-insulation diameter to ≈ 16.60 mm per core. XLPE keeps a 90 °C continuous rating and a 250 °C five-second short-circuit ceiling, with volume resistivity ≥ 1×10¹² Ω·cm and a 3.5 kV five-minute routine proof. | |||
| 4. Assembly & Jacket | |||
| The four insulated cores are laid up with a dry central filler and held with binder tape into a bundle of about 40.1 mm, then jacketed with 2.1 mm of flame-retarded ST2 PVC, closing at 46.0 mm. Fire behaviour satisfies ZC via GB/T 18380.12 and GB/T 18380.35; since PVC is halogen-bearing, LSZH projects should specify WDZ-YJY instead. | |||
| 5. Handling & Application | |||
| • Keep bend radius above 15 × OD. • Apply the DC 4U0 = 2.4 kV / 15 min site test before first energising. • Ambient range −20 to +45 °C; warm the drum for pulls below 0 °C. • Derate the 285 A (air) / 310 A (soil) reference for ambient, grouping and burial factors. • Match lugs and glands to the 14.20 mm core and 46.0 mm sheath. |
9. Usage Cautions. Bend ≥ 15 × OD; use rollers/stockings on long runs; guard against crushing; DC site test before energising; derate for ambient/grouping/burial; fit lugs and glands for the ≈ 14.20 mm core.

10. Application Range. Three-phase + neutral feeders, distribution boards, sub-distribution and large motor circuits at 0.6/1 kV — building risers, plant rooms, transformer secondaries, pump/HVAC circuits — in conduit, tray, trench, duct, trunking; indoor or sheltered outdoor.

9. Ordering. ZR-YJV 0.6/1 kV 4×120 + length/drum + marking. Standard 100 m; confirm against the factory test certificate.
