| Product Structure Introduction — ZR-YJV 4×95 mm² (English) | |||
| Four-core layered construction description, from conductor to outer sheath · per GB/T 12706.1 & IEC 60502-1 · CU / XLPE / PVC · 0.6/1 kV | |||
| 1. Document Scope | |||
| ZR-YJV 4×95 is a flame-retarded four-core cable for 0.6/1 kV AC networks, built on the copper / XLPE / PVC platform to GB/T 12706.1 / IEC 60502-1, with conductor compliance to GB/T 3956 / IEC 60228 and flame classification per GB/T 19666 (ZC default). Approx. outside diameter 41.2 mm, weight 4166 kg/km; normally supplied in 100 m coils or drums. | |||
| Four identical 95 mm² cores deliver 245 A per cable in air, making the type a common choice for dense urban risers and plant feeders. | |||
| 2. Conductor Construction | |||
| Each 95 mm² core is formed from nineteen 2.52 mm annealed copper wires (19/2.52) in a 1+6+12 concentric arrangement, Class 2, reaching ≈ 12.60 mm diameter. The DC resistance limit is 0.193 Ω/km at 20 °C. This heavier core still keeps good flexibility because of the fine-wire lay-up. | |||
| 3. Insulation Construction | |||
| XLPE is applied at 1.1 mm, the wall retained through the 70–95 mm² band, so the over-insulation diameter sits at ≈ 14.80 mm per core. The insulation supports 90 °C continuous service, 250 °C short-circuit peaks for five seconds, volume resistivity ≥ 1×10¹² Ω·cm and the routine 3.5 kV AC five-minute proof. | |||
| 4. Cabling, Filling & Sheathing | |||
| The four cores are laid up around a dry central filler into a round bundle near 35.7 mm and held by binder tape, then sheathed with 2.0 mm of flame-retarded ST2 PVC to close at ≈ 41.2 mm. Fire performance meets ZC under GB/T 18380.12 and GB/T 18380.35; because PVC contains halogen, LSZH schemes should switch to WDZ-YJY. | |||
| 5. Use & Care Notes | |||
| • Bending radius not below 15 × OD. • Execute the DC 4U0 = 2.4 kV / 15 min site test before energising. • Ambient −20 to +45 °C; pre-heat drums for pulls under 0 °C. • Apply ambient, grouping and burial derating to the quoted ampacity. • Use lugs and glands sized for the ≈ 12.60 mm core. |
7. Usage Cautions. Bend ≥ 15 × OD; use stockings and rollers on long pulls; protect from crushing and sharp edges; run the DC site test before energising; derate for ambient/grouping/burial; fit lugs sized for the ≈ 12.60 mm core.

8. Application Range. Three-phase + neutral feeders, sub-distribution and large motor circuits at 0.6/1 kV — building risers, plant rooms, transformer secondaries, HVAC/pump circuits — in conduit, tray, trench, duct, trunking; indoor or sheltered outdoor.

9. Ordering. ZR-YJV 0.6/1 kV 4×95 + length/drum type + marking. Standard 100 m; confirm against the factory test certificate.
