| Product Structure Introduction — ZR-YJV 4×70 mm² | |||
| Four-core layered construction description, from conductor to outer sheath · per GB/T 12706.1 & IEC 60502-1 · CU / XLPE / PVC · 0.6/1 kV | |||
| 1. Product Introduction | |||
| ZR-YJV 4×70 is a flame-retarded four-core power cable rated 0.6/1 kV AC, following the copper / XLPE / PVC platform and the requirements of GB/T 12706.1 / IEC 60502-1, with stranding in accordance with GB/T 3956 / IEC 60228 and fire classification under GB/T 19666 (ZC default). Approx. outside diameter 36.4 mm, weight 3080 kg/km; standard delivery on 100 m coils or drums. | |||
| Four equal 70 mm² cores give the cable a high continuous current of 200 A in air while keeping the neutral full-sized for unbalanced three-phase loads. | |||
| 2. Conductor Structure | |||
| The 70 mm² core is stranded concentrically from nineteen 2.14 mm annealed copper wires — 19/2.14 in a 1+6+12 arrangement, Class 2 — forming ≈ 10.70 mm diameter. Maximum DC resistance is 0.268 Ω/km at 20 °C. Where the manufacturer prefers, 14 × 2.52 is an equivalent alternative stranding of the same class. | |||
| 3. Insulation Structure | |||
| Insulation thickness rises to 1.1 mm at this section, putting the over-insulation diameter at ≈ 12.90 mm per core. XLPE provides a continuous rating of 90 °C, a five-second short-circuit capability at 250 °C, volume resistivity of at least 1×10¹² Ω·cm, and clearance of the routine 3.5 kV AC, five-minute proof test. | |||
| 4. Assembly, Sheath & Fire | |||
| The four insulated cores are cabled around a dry central filler into a round assembly of about 31.1 mm and bound with tape, then covered by a 1.9 mm flame-retarded ST2 PVC jacket to finish at ≈ 36.4 mm. ZC flame behaviour is demonstrated under GB/T 18380.12 and GB/T 18380.35; PVC being halogen-bearing, LSZH applications call for WDZ-YJY instead. | |||
| 5. Site & Handling Notes | |||
| • Respect a minimum bending radius of 15 × OD. • Run the DC 4U0 = 2.4 kV / 15 min site test before energising. • Ambient −20 to +45 °C; warm drums when pulling below 0 °C. • Derate the quoted ampacity for ambient, grouping and burial. • Fit lugs and glands for the ≈ 10.70 mm core. |
8. Usage Cautions. Bend ≥ 15 × OD; use stockings and rollers for heavy-drum pulls; avoid sharp saddles and twisting; protect from sun/impact; run the DC site test before energising; derate for ambient/grouping/burial; fit lugs sized for the ≈ 10.70 mm core.

9. Application Range. Three-phase + neutral feeders, sub-distribution and larger motor circuits at 0.6/1 kV — building risers, plant rooms, transformer secondaries, HVAC/pump circuits — in conduit, tray, trench, duct, trunking; indoor or sheltered outdoor.

10. Ordering. ZR-YJV 0.6/1 kV 4×70 + length/drum type + marking. Standard 100 m; confirm against the factory test certificate.
