| Two-core layered construction description, from conductor to outer sheath · per GB/T 12706.1 & IEC 60502-1 · CU / XLPE / PVC · 0.6/1 kV | |||
| 1. Scope of the Document | |||
| This data sheet describes ZR-YJV 2×35, a flame-retardant two-core low-voltage feeder rated 0.6/1 kV AC, built on the copper / XLPE / PVC platform. It is made to GB/T 12706.1 / IEC 60502-1 with cores to GB/T 3956 / IEC 60228 and fire performance to GB/T 19666 (ZC default). Cable weight ≈ 868 kg/km and outside diameter ≈ 22.0 mm; standard 100 m lengths. | |||
| The two equal cores are intended to be loaded together; the cable is a fixed-installation product, not a flexible cord. | |||
| 2. Conductor Layer | |||
| Each 35 mm² core is stranded from seven soft annealed copper wires of 2.52 mm (7/2.52), Class 2, to a nominal diameter of ≈ 7.5 mm. The maximum DC resistance is 0.524 Ω/km at 20 °C per core. At this size the conductor still pulls easily through conduit and trunking while delivering the 185 A class of capacity in air. | |||
| 3. Insulation Layer | |||
| A 0.9 mm XLPE layer wraps every core, giving ≈ 9.3 mm over insulation. The cross-linked dielectric permits 90 °C continuous operation, 250 °C for five seconds on short-circuit, shows volume resistivity of at least 1×10¹² Ω·cm and survives the 3.5 kV / 5 min production voltage test. | |||
| 4. Cabling & Jacket | |||
| The two insulated cores are laid together with non-hygroscopic packing and, usually, a binder tape, forming a round bundle of ≈ 18.6 mm. The 1.8 mm flame-retarded PVC (ST2) jacket closes the cable to ≈ 22.0 mm overall. Flame class ZC is demonstrated by GB/T 18380.12 and GB/T 18380.35; the PVC jacket is halogen-bearing, so use WDZ-YJY when zero-halogen is required. | |||
| 5. Installation Guidance | |||
| • Route with a minimum bend radius of 15 × OD. • Perform the post-installation DC test at 4U0 = 2.4 kV for 15 minutes. • Service range −20 to +45 °C; warm reels before pulling below 0 °C. • Ampacities here are whole-cable values — apply grouping, ambient and burial derating. • Match gland and lug sizes to the ≈ 7.5 mm core diameter. |

| Notes | |||||
| 1. All insulation tests shall be carried out at (20 ± 5) °C and 45 – 75 % RH unless otherwise stated. | |||||
| 2. Routine test = 100 % production test; Type test = performed on representative samples; Sample test = per lot. | |||||
| 3. Test voltage 3.5 kV / 5 min is the routine withstand test per IEC 60502-1; 4.0 kV is the type-test voltage. | |||||
| 4. Values marked 'typical' or 'reference' are material / design values; confirm against the manufacturer's test report (TDS / CoC). | |||||
| 5. Current ratings are for a single circuit, unarmoured 2×35 mm²; apply correction factors for grouping, ambient temperature, soil thermal resistivity and depth. | |||||
| 6. XLPE insulation is rated 90 °C long-term / 250 °C short-circuit (≤ 5 s); do not exceed these limits in service. | |||||
| 7. For low-smoke halogen-free requirement → WDZ-YJY 2×35; for fire-survival circuits → NH-ZR-YJV 2×35; for heavy mechanical load → ZR-YJV22 2×35. | |||||
| 8. Standards: GB/T 12706.1-2020 (equiv. IEC 60502-1); GB/T 3956 / IEC 60228; GB/T 19666-2019; GB/T 2951 / IEC 60811; GB/T 3048. | |||||

9. Application Range. Single-phase feeders, L+N distribution, sub-boards, pump, HVAC and machine feeders at 0.6/1 kV — conduits, trays, trunking, trenches; indoor or sheltered outdoor.

10. Ordering Information. ZR-YJV 0.6/1 kV 2×35, length, coil/drum type, marking. Standard 100 m; confirm all figures against the factory certificate.
