2009 — Foundation & Strategic Positioning

Anhui Tongdu Cable Co., Ltd. was founded in 2009, establishing its manufacturing base at Xinlou Industrial Park, Zongyang Economic Development Zone, Anhui Province, China. From day one, the company positioned itself as a dedicated manufacturer of wires and cables, focusing on technological capability and product reliability—laying the groundwork for long-term growth in both domestic and international markets.

2010s (Early Growth Phase) — Capacity Building & Market Expansion

The company executed a total investment of RMB 110 million to build a modern production facility. It assembled a workforce of nearly 100 employees and installed over 100 sets of advanced domestic and imported production and testing equipment. To strengthen its domestic sales network, Tongdu Cable opened branch offices and retail outlets in Hefei, Anqing, Fuyang, and Lu'an, systematically covering key regional markets. During this period, the company began supplying cables to major domestic players such as Huaibei Mining Group Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., Anhui Shizhi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Railway Bureau, earning a reputation for quality and dependability.

2023 — Brand Recognition, Third-Party Validation & International Certification Preparation

In 2023, Tongdu Cable achieved cumulative production milestones: 200 million meters of wires and 10 million meters of cables. The company obtained the national industrial production license for wires and cables (Certificate No.: (Wan) XK06-001-00476, valid until December 20, 2028). Three China Compulsory Certification (CCC) certificates were issued by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) in February 2024, covering PVC insulated cables, unsheathed wires, and flexible cords. Third-party test reports from Anhui Product Quality Supervision & Inspection Research Institute confirmed full compliance with GB/T 12706.1-2020 and GB/T 9330-2020 standards. The company also became a Council Member (5th term, 2023–2028) of the Anhui Provincial Electric Wire & Cable Industry Association. Tongdu Cable passed both the Anhui Provincial Supervision Random Inspection (Report No.: (2025) Wan Jian DZ Zi Di 02516) and the National Supervision Random Inspection (Report No.: GJHE250165) conducted by the State Administration for Market Regulation. Products tested included YJV power cables and BV unsheathed wires, with all items rated compliant—zero non-conformities. In the same year, the company secured significant supply contracts with Zhejiang CHINT, China Hongqiao International Investment Co., Ltd. (for a 2×60MW combined-cycle power plant project in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina), and multiple domestic EPC firms. It also obtained the Energy Management System certification and a CE certificate, officially enabling direct sales into European and other international markets.
