1. Differences in application fields:
Control cable: used for computer system, information transmission system, robot system, CNC equipment system, automation system, drag chain system, etc.
Power cable: The cable products used in the power system mainly include overhead bare wires, bus bars (buses), power cables (plastic cables, oil paper cables (basically replaced by plastic power cables), rubber sheathed cables, overhead insulated cables), branch cables (replacing part of the buses), electromagnetic wires, and electrical equipment wires and cables for power equipment.
2. Core number difference:
Control cable: there are many cores, 61 cores according to the standard
Power cable: thick wire diameter, generally 3-core or 4-core
3. Voltage difference:
Control cable: rated voltage 450/750V
Power cable: rated voltage is generally 0.6/1kV and above
4. Load flow:
Control cable: used to transmit control signals, and directly transmit electric energy from the power distribution point of the power system to the power connection line of various electrical equipment and appliances
Power cable: used to transmit and distribute large functional electric energy in the trunk line of power system, with large current
There is a big difference between control cable and power cable: the current passing through is different and the load driven is different. The current carrying capacity of control cable and power cable varies greatly due to different application occasions. There are many cores in the control cable, and there are usually three to four cores in the power cable.
